Taxpayer money and JOBS!

A recent lengthy report by Reuters confirms what many conservatives have long known: President Obama's promise to create millions of so-called "green jobs" has been a colossal and expensive failure.

1)  Since 2009, the wind industry has lost 10,000 jobs, even as the energy capacity of wind farms has almost doubled.  By contrast, the oil and gas industry have created 75,000 jobs since Mr. Obama took office.

I would be willing to bet those 75,000 oil and gas jobs are right here in North Dakota in the Bakken oilfield.
Obama and the EPA had zero, zip, nada to do with that growth. In fact if they had their way fracking would be outlawed and this boom would be bust too, much like every thing this President has touched...

How do you turn a $2.1 billion dollar loan into assets of $10 million?

A California solar energy company that was unable to meet a deadline for an Energy Department loan guarantee last year has sought bankruptcy protection in Delaware.

Solar Trust of America’s Chapter 11 filing on Monday listed assets between $1 million and $10 million, and liabilities between $10 million and $50 million.

This bunch has a gift for losing money. Especially taxpayer money.

Advertising His Failures

If it was a success he wouldn't have to advertise.

The Obama campaign dumped 5,000 ads into 25 swing-state markets Jan. 19-25, according to the Wesleyan Media Project, which analyzes political ad spending. That’s about 33 ads daily in each television market.

It’s unusual for an incumbent to run campaign ads 10 months before the election, particularly in such volume, says David Pesci of the Wesleyan project. “He’s either being very aggressive or he’s more nervous than they’re talking about.”

Expect more of this, he has some new super PAC money to blow.

Another One Bites The Dust

Obama loves to waste taxpayer money.

The company, Ener1, received a $118 million grant from DOE in 2010 as part of the president’s stimulus package. The money, which went to Ener1 subsidiary EnerDel, aimed to promote renewable energy storage battery technology for electrical grid use.

But despite generous federal support for the company, Ener1 was racked by problems last year. In October, NASDAQ delisted the company due to non-compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission filing requirements. A month later, the company’s president, chief executive, and top financial officer were fired.

The upside is its nowhere near as much the other green failures this bunch has wasted money on.
Maybe the Government should just let the private sector risk money, they are a much safer bet...
