Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Thursday maintained that the “the strategy, the tactics, the ideology” of progressive caucus members in Congress are the same as that of the Communist Party.
“I’m just talking about the fact of the ideologies, the principles you believe in,” he said on CNN, urging others to “stand upon truth” and learn to identify the ideological motivations of members of Congress. “I’m calling it this: communist, progressive, Marxist, socialist, statist.”Spot on.
Rep. Allen West said Tuesday he is “always willing and ready to serve my country” when asked about a potential vice presidential bid — a job Sarah Palin recently said he should be considered for.
“As far as the vice president thing, you know, who knows what the future lies because it wasn’t too long ago, you know, I was sitting in the desert of Kandahar, Afghanistan, and now I’m here talking with you,” the Florida Republican told CNN’s Soledad O’Brien. “But, you know, I am always willing and ready to serve my country in whatever capacity that the American people would desire.”
"Can someone tell me how employment in the black community has improved at a rate three times the national average in just a few months?? With numbers like today, urban communities should be well on their way to economic recovery then! There is something suspicious about the job numbers released today and it has me very concerned," West wondered Friday. "Is this dramatic supposed decrease in black unemployment a result of job creation or is someone playing around with the census numbers??"I wonder too...
“Under President Obama’s leadership, there’s been a 41 percent increase in food stamp recipients in the United States of America,” West told TheDC after hosting a Conservative Black Forum on Capitol Hill Monday.
“If there are people such as Rep. Clyburn that don’t want to face up to the truth then that’s on them and I think it’s absolutely reprehensible that they feel that the only thing they can fall back on is try to create some type of racial division which we know that the Democrats are already trying to create some type of class warfare division as well,” he said.”He puts the racist in their proper place on a daily basis.
