Jobs Claims Down?

Thursday, January 5, 2012

Only if you are to believe the AP.

Weekly applications dropped by 15,000 to a seasonally adjusted 372,000 last week, the Labor Department said. That’s 11 percent lower than the same time last year and a positive sign ahead of Friday’s important read on December job growth.
This didn't get by the watchful eye of  Steve Gilbert.
In typical fashion the AP neglects to mention that the previous week’s new unemployment claims number was actually up by a whopping 21,000. In fact, that terrible news got practically no attention last week, since it was reported during the Christmas holidays.
Believe nothing coming from Obama's news outlets, NOTHING.

Obama Begins To Cut The Military

The left hates our heroes.

The Obama administration will unveil a “more realistic” vision for the military on Thursday, with plans to cut tens of thousands of ground troops and invest more in air and sea power at a time of fiscal restraint, officials familiar with the plans said on Wednesday.
The strategic review of U.S. security interests will also emphasize an American presence in Asia, with less attention overall to Europe, Africa and Latin America alongside slower growth in the Pentagon’s budget, the officials said.
Though specific budget cut and troop reduction figures are not set to be announced on Thursday, officials confirmed to Reuters they would amount to a 10–15 percent decline in Army and Marine Corps numbers over the next decade, translating to tens of thousands of troops.
Is a comment really necessary?

Power Grab (Updated)

Nothing is too much for this king.

President Obama on Wednesday used his recess appointment powers to name a head for the controversial Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in a move Republican senators said amounted to a constitutional power grab.
Mr. Obama made the appointment of Richard Cordray even though the Senate, which has the power to confirm nominees, considers itself still in session.
Will some brave house member start impeachment proceedings soon?
Its not only me seeing it this way!
Impeach the bastard, he is not going to stop!

Obama Recovery Worse Than Bush Recession

Tuesday, January 3, 2012

I would laugh if it were a joke, but its not!

New evidence suggests there’s a reason why this economic “recovery” hasn’t felt much like a recovery. Figures from the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey, compiled by Sentier Research, show that the “recovery” has actually been harder on most Americans than the recession from which they’ve allegedly been recovering.
America will not survive four more years of this...
